Our Accommodation - Five luxurious apartments!

In the old hay-loft of our wonderful characteristic homestead in North Holland (which is over 200 years old), we offer you five luxurious apartments. These apartments are suitable for groups or families of 2 to 8 people. For large groups of up to 22 people, a combination of apartments can easily be arranged.
Every apartment has a fully furnished kitchen, excellent bathroom facilities, television, heating and internet. The apartments offer an excellent view of the surrounding beautiful polders.

Dutch history on your doorstep....

From the parking-lot you enter what was the cow and horse stable through the old stable-door.
In "the stable" we've created a small museum with objects from the past which intrege and delight all guests. We have also created a furnished recreational area with bar and carom billiard in this area.

Safety - The entire accommodation is measured by the highest standards in fire prevention.

Service - Quality service is our aim so we are at your service 24 hours a day! We speak several languages including Dutch, English and German.

Internet - You can use the wireless internet connection FREE of charge

Parking - We have ample FREE parking available at the rear of the apartments

Laundry - An automatic washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer are located in the "Stable" are downstairs and are available for guest use.

Tourist attractions

A large number of tourist attractions are located near "Swanenburgh".

The picturesque fishermen towns like Edam, Volendam, Monnickendam, Marken, Hoorn and Enkhuizen guarantee a superb day out.

The traditional cheese markets during the summer in Alkmaar and Edam are well worth a visit! Amsterdam, the Zaanse Schans in Zaanstand and the Zuiderzeemuseum in Enkhuizen can be reached in less than 30 minutes.

The pastures in Waterland invite you to a relaxing tour by foot or bike. A large number of fields filled with tulips can be found near "Swanenburgh" during spring.

If you wish to travel slightly further, the marvels of the Delta Works, Rotterdam and Madurodam are all within reach for a day-trip.

For the children - treat them to a day at SprookjesWonderland or a steam train ride at Hoorn.

You can also relax, sitting on our terrace. Sheep, chickens, cats and dogs are present on the farm. For more information, check our Local Attractions page.

Your Host and Hostess

Hostess Coba is responsible for the colourful furnishing and decoration. The paintings in the accommodation are her creations, since painting aquarelles is her hobby.

Host Jos is responsible for the maintenance and odd jobs. Together the are responsible for your pleasant stay at "Swanenburgh".
